Bilingual and ProudMilwaukee Student Gustavo Martínez Awarded “Best Essay” Award by National Association for Bilingual EducationA Web Exclusive
In February, Gustavo Martínez, a student at Allen-Field Elementary School in Milwaukee, was awarded the "best essay" prize by the National Association for Bilingual Education.
Martínez is enrolled in the Milwaukee Public School's Bilingual Gifted and Talented Program, which is located at Allen-Field Elementary School on the south side.
